Christmas: a gift that keeps their voice
For the parent who says they don't need anything. They're probably right.
Christmas is Friday, December 25, 2026.
Christmas is coming up.
By now you've heard it: "Don't get me anything." Your parents have the sweaters and the gift cards they never use. What they may not have is anybody asking what Christmas was like when they were ten, who sat at that table, and how the family ended up in this town in the first place.
This gift gives them that. They get a link with your note. They press a button and talk, and an AI interviewer asks about what they say. They can do it alone on a quiet afternoon, or you can do it together with everyone home for the holidays, passing the phone around the table.
You keep the recording and a written story. It's a good gift for a family that already has too much stuff, and a way to hold on to what can't be bought later.
How the timing works
- Today: buy it, write a note and choose the delivery date.
- On Christmas: we email the invitation. Or send the link yourself whenever you like.
- When they're ready: they talk, in one sitting or several.
- After they finish: the story is usually ready within minutes, with the recording and PDF.
The gift is the invitation, so there is nothing to ship and nothing that can arrive late. How soon you get the story depends on when they choose to talk.
What they will actually do
They open the link on a phone, tablet or computer. There's no app, no account and no password. They see your note, agree to be recorded, and then see one question in large type with one big button. They press it, talk for as long as they like and press it again. The next question follows from what they just said. They can stop at any time, come back another day, take back any answer or delete everything.
If a phone isn't their thing, sit down with them and use yours. You can run the controls while they talk, and you may hear something new yourself.
Three notes you can copy
Merry Christmas. I don't want another year to go by without hearing your stories. Open this whenever you feel like talking.
You said not to get you anything. So this isn't a thing. It's a few good questions, and I'd love to hear the answers.
For the kids, and for me: your stories, in your voice. No writing. Start wherever you want.
What it costs
$49 once, with no subscription. It covers up to an hour of interview time, the written story, the recording and a PDF, and there's a 30-day refund. See pricing.
Common questions
Can the invitation arrive on Christmas morning?
Yes. Choose December 25 as the delivery date and it is emailed that morning, US time. You can also keep the link and hand it over yourself.
Can the family do this together over the holidays?
Yes. Sit together, open the interview on your phone and let the AI ask. You can pause any time to ask what to say next.
Is there a shipping deadline?
No. Nothing ships. You can buy it as late as Christmas Eve.
